I was a civil servant for almost 20 years, and I was completely burnt out.
I wanted to experience a more positive side of life and, having already gained several fitness qualifications, I decided to become a Pilates instructor (despite never having tried Pilates!).
I qualified as a Level 2 Gym Instructor in 2007 and then went on to qualify in water-based exercise.
I have been teaching mat Pilates for the past 6 years. I’ve been teaching at several gyms, and I also have my own classes.
Anyone can enjoy a Pilates class!
I always make sure that I demonstrate, explain and correct to ensure maximum benefit to the client.
My clients always say how comfortable I make them feel and, although you will work hard, we also like to have a laugh. Fitness can be fun.
