I am a Pilates teacher with L3 Diploma in instructing Pilates Matwork, Pilates for Bone Health, Pilates for the Older Adult, and Pilates for Pregnancy (pre & postnatal).

I’m a member of the Body Control Pilates Association, the Body Control Pilates Academy & I’m a CIMPSA Pilates Instructor Associate.

I trained as a Pilates teacher initially to deepen my own understanding, but found that I enjoyed teaching and loved getting people moving correctly.

I teach functional Pilates to help clients improve posture, muscle tone & flexibility, as well as develop their concentration, co-ordination & stamina. And of course to find some quality ‘me time’ and enjoy themselves.

These are essential ingredients for enjoying a happy & healthy life, something I believe should be available to everyone.

My approach to teaching is supportive & challenging. I give everyone in class the attention they need to practice safely & effectively.

What equipment do I need?

You will need a Pilates or Yoga mat, and either Yoga blocks or cushions to support your head in line with your spine (for side lying exercises). You may need a small head cushion to support your head in line with your spine when in semi supine position. Occasionally, we will use Pilates resistance bands, and Pilates overballs – if you don’t have them, it’s ok! If you’re unsure about any of this information, please feel free to contact me.
