Instructor Profile

Hello and so lovely to have you here in my space!

I am a registered Exercise Physiologist and Kinesiologist, living in the vibrant and beautiful Vancouver, Canada. I have completed a STOTT rehabilitation pilates certificate in Mat and Reformer Pilates that is designed for Health Practitioners only.

My passion is Clinical Pilates. I love educating individuals how the human body works and responds to movement. Clinical Pilates is beneficial for all ages, injuries and genders.

During our online sessions together, I will be monitoring your movements closely to identify your own muscle imbalances/patterns and adapt variations for you accordingly within a group style class.

My mat Pilates class will be a combination of breathwork, core retraining and clinical movements to strengthen your intrinsic muscles first, prior to building strength into your global muscles.

Who are these classes for?

Prenatal classes are for any Mum looking for classes with a focus on preparing the body for delivery and your posture as a new Mum. That being; postural strengthening, rib releasing stretches, breathwork, pelvic floor and deep abdominal strengthening and stretching (there's a shift for the Mumma's 35+ weeks but you're still encouraged to stick to these classes).

Postnatal classes are for reconnecting your neuromuscular pathways to the muscles after delivery. All Mums are welcome for this class and will need a 6 week clearance from their Doctor prior to starting the classes. It is welcome for all Mumma’s postnatal whether that’s 6 weeks or 2 years. I will be taking a pelvic floor focus in every session and teaching you to rebuild your core muscles prior to strengthening the rest of your body as your bub grows. The biggest concern I've noticed for Mums are the aches and pains of the forward folding postures they're adapting to so be sure we'll be working upper body and postural strengthening! For the earlier Mumma’s, I’d love to see you graduate into the general women’s health classes on Thursday’s.

The general women’s health class is welcome to all female’s pre and post natal. This is a general pilates mat class that just brings more focus to your pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles.

For the mat pilates classes - come one come all! This is open for everyone and anyone who's interested in trying mat Pilates or is a regular go getter. I'll be providing many progressions throughout the classes. If you have an injury, are recovering from one or are looking for maintenance, this is your class!

I am SO excited to welcome you into my living room here in Vancouver. If we don’t get to connect live, always jump onto the on demand sessions readily available for my members.
